Goan Fish Curry Coconut Cream Based Fish Curry
Ingredients:
Fish 400g
Oil ¼ cup
Onion 2 medium pieces
Ginger 2 Tsp
Garlic Five Cloves Big
Red Buttons Chilies 10
Chili Powder 2tsp
Salt 2 Tsp
Cumin and coriander seeds 2 tsp
Black Paper Powder 2 Tsp
Sugar 1 Tsp
Tamarind water 2 tsp
Green Chilies 3
Coriander Chopped 2 Tsp
Lemon Juice 1 Tsp
Coconut Milk Powder 4 Tsp
Coconut Cream ¼ can
Curry Leaves 10
Procedure:
Step1:
First of all heat up oil and then add curry leaves.
Step2:
Then Add chopped onion and then sauté for two minutes.
Step3:
Then make a thick paste of remaining onion, garlic, ginger and button chilies.
Step4:
Then make powder of cumin and coriander it.
Step5:
Then add red paste in oil along with all spices.
Step6:
And mix well and cook it for 5 minutes in low heat
Step7:
Then add tamarind water and mix. And add fish Pieces and turn the flame low. Flip this for 2 minutes.
Step8:
Then add coconut cream and milk powder.
Step9:
Swirl the pot to mix it well.
Step10:
In the end, cover the lid then cook it for 15 minutes on low flame.
Step11:
Add water for gravy and thin or thick as your choice so add accordingly.
Step12:
Simmer for 10 minutes. Then add salt and lemon juice as you want also add green chilies and coriander and mix it then simmer for 2 minutes.
Now your dish is ready.
